This half-day class is designed for younger children with little or no riding experience. Campers learn horse etiquette, English riding, grooming, feeding and watering. The other half day includes swimming and camp activities. This popular program fills up quickly!!

This overall program exposes campers to horses and English style horseback riding. They learn horse etiquette, grooming, feeding and watering, breeds, tacking, showmanship and safety. Depending on experience, campers practice walking, trotting, posting and some beginner jumps. Campers ride twice a day and swim everyday.

This program allows our more experienced riders to take their riding to the next level. These campers will be very active in caring for the horses as well as planning the camp Horse Show. Riding skills will focus on topics such as showmanship, dressage, and jumping. Participants will have opportunities to take leadership roles with younger campers visiting the barn, and Advanced Horsemanship campers will help others with less experience during the Camp Horse Show. It may include a field trip to another equestrian facility in the area. Includes swimming each day (weather permitting).
