COPS & ROBBERS (NEW!)

July 28-August 1 Cost: $300

Learn what local police officers do on a daily basis, solve "crimes" at Camp Ketcha, use our ropes course to complete a “SWAT” obstacle course, have some target practice with paintball and visit a local police department.


ROPE & ROCK

Designed for adventurous campers who enjoy our ropes course, they work through team and individual challenges on high and low ropes, learn knot tying and how to belay fellow campers, review equipment safety and maintenance and improve teamwork and communication skills. Campers visit the Maine Rock Gym to climb on two different mornings.


GOLF CAMP

August 11-15 Cost: $295

Young golfers of all skill levels will learn and sharpen their skills. The week begins with basic skills, rules and drills here at camp. Campers then travel to a local putting green, go mini golfing, and practice at a local driving range. Campers golf at a local course one day.


ULTIMATE CAMP

July 14-18 Cost: $275

Campers will learn to play disc golf, ultimate frisbee, rugby, hackey sack and other unique “ultimate sports." Campers will have the opportunity to play an ultimate sport against another group of campers.


 

 

OUTDOOR SURVIVAL CAMP (NEW!)

August 4-8 Cost: $295

Learn outdoor survival skills, make shelters that will withstand inclement weather, learn about edible plants, tracking and safety skills. Includes one overnight at Camp Ketcha.


PEDAL & PADDLE

$275 per week

Designed to expand your camper’s cycling and canoeing skills. Campers bring their own bikes and learn basic bicycle mechanics and maintenance and then explore woods, fields and trails on their bikes. They also learn to steer and paddle a canoe around the pond. Campers take trips off-site to paddle local waterways and bike local trails. They need their own mountain bikes, helmets, and elbow and knee-pads. Camp Ketcha provides all canoeing equipment.

NOTE: No bikes are allowed on the buses. Bikes may be dropped off on Monday and picked up Friday afternoon.


WORLD OF WATER

July 14-18 /  August 18-22
$300 per week

Designed for campers who love being in the water. Campers will spend two days snorkeling with Paul Rollins, professional dive instructor. The first day will be instruction on using fins, goggles and snorkels. The second day will be spent snorkeling in our pond and pool. Campers will spend one day at a local water park, explore beaches, go canoeing and spend time on our property exploring the Scarborough Marsh.

ZOOLOGY CAMP (NEW!)

July 21-25 Cost: $300

Learn to care for animals by hands on experience at Camp Ketcha, local shelters and farms. Experience the science behind animal care. Meet with local veterinarians and have a special tour at Gray Animal Farm.


RIGHT ON TARGET CAMP

August 18-22 Cost: $325

Archery, riflery and paintball are all included in this fun and exciting camp. Campers will participate in activities here and take field trips off site. We will be visited by a firearms instructor with a local police department to discuss gun safety before participating in riflery.


 

BABYSITTING / CHILD DEVELOPMENT CAMP

August 4-8 Cost: $235

This week long camp is for campers interested in learning more about childcare and safety surrounding childcare. Campers will complete the Red Cross babysitting course as well as learn skills and tricks for easy bedtime, meal preparation, child behavior and fun games and arts & crafts ideas.


TEEN ADVENTURE CAMP

July 28-August 1 Cost: $400

Campers will focus on team-building skills through active adventure programs. Campers will learn new skills on our ropes course, go whitewater rafting, rock climbing and kayaking. Teen Adventure camp will include two overnights.
